The location was historic, the room was newly furnished with an exceptional view. Location was near the beach. The staff were highly professional and assisted me greatly. Warm drinks at Irish bar, courteous service.

Varied breakfast, very pretty location, good sized bed. I liked a modern decor and stylish furniture. It was ordinary, and the bathroom was luxury. The roof top bar in the hotel had lots of strong tea, wines and gins throughout the day. Staff were very frendly, setting is in 5 minutes' walk to the downtown.

Marvellous location and superior place. There were GREAT employees. Superior queen room overlooks the mountain and includes an electric kettle and glassware. We enjoyed our coffee with goodies at Herdwicks Cafe and Bistro.

The location was stunning, with Steam Bistro nearby, where we could eat. It truly was a comfortable experience. This hotel's near tourist places like coniston water.
